"Lure of the Lake "

is located on one of the most pristine lakes in British Columbia, which features hundreds of miles of uninhabited shoreline, warm swimmable water, and outstanding fishing opportunities.

Conveniently located in the center of mid Vancouver Island, British Columbia, "Lure of the Lake" is easily accessible from the metropolitan areas of Vancouver or VIctoria. We are about 2.5 -3 hours from each city, though can also be reached via the international airport and ferry terminals in Nanaimo or Comox, BC. From here we are about an hour drive. We are also an hour drive to the west coast resort towns of Tofino and Ucluelet, where thePacific Rim National Park is located. From Seattle, one can either drive to Vancouver and take a ferry to Nanaimo, or chose to fly to Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, or Tofino. If you are not in a hurry- the ferry ride and the drive to the home from Nanaimo offer outstanding scenery!

Tofino beaches are spectacular, and an easy day trip away.
